Triennale Game Collection 2 1.6.4

The Game Collection Volume 2 presents a notable free virtual exhibition of video games, curated for the 23rd International Exhibition of Triennale Milano. This distinctive collection highlights the experimental approaches to interactivity by five of the world's leading independent game designers.

The featured artists include:

• Optillusion (Moncage)
• Fern Goldfarb-Ramallo (Panoramical)
• Nina Freeman (Cibele)
• Akwasi Bediako Afrane (TRONS)
• Llaura McGee / Dreamfeel (If Found...)

Over the course of three months, a new game will be released every two weeks, each offering a self-contained experience focused on interactive narrative, puzzles, and exploration.

Curated by Italian game designer Pietro Righi Riva, the exhibition's immersive virtual environment has been developed by Italian game studio Santa Ragione, known for their acclaimed title FOTONICA.

Each game within the collection offers a unique exploration of diverse themes:

1. WADE by Optillusion (China / USA): This experience invites players to stroll along the banks of a wide river flowing into an underworld, where the shifting scenery reveals various oddities.
2. We Are Poems by Fern Ramallo (Argentina): Here, players swim through a vibrant and queer region of deep space filled with joyful light and cosmic inhabitants.
3. Nonno's Legend by Nina Freeman (USA): This game takes players on a journey of imagination, exploring how a globe can transform into a canvas for reshaping distant lands.
4. MINE by Akwasi Bediako Afrane (Ghana): Positioned within an “open-mine” setting, this first-person game addresses the intricate connections between raw materials and our virtual environments.
5. Contact by Llaura McGee / Dreamfeel (Ireland): Players engage in decoding signals from outer space while reflecting on themes of identity and connectivity.

The Triennale Game Collection 2 is designed for iPhone 7 and higher. Compatibility does not extend to iPhone 6s, iPod touch, iPad 3rd generation, or iPad mini 2nd generation and below.
